🐄 TEXAS Series
Insulated Panels for Agricultural & Livestock Environments
Description
The TEXAS Series is intended for projects in agricultural and livestock environments where corrosion resistance, durability, and environmental control are critical to long-term performance.
Rather than relying on a standard solution, these systems are configured based on actual operating conditions, taking into account factors such as exposure to ammonia, moisture, cleaning processes, ventilation, and facility use.
Typical operating range:
+35°F to +80°F (≈ +2°C to +27°C)
Panels can be integrated into:
- Roof systems
- Exterior wall cladding
- Interior walls and partitions
- Interior liner systems
- Retrofit or modernization of existing facilities
This approach supports both new construction and upgrades of existing agricultural buildings, improving sanitary conditions, durability, and operational performance.
⚙️ Panel Configuration
System configuration is defined based on exposure conditions, facility use, and selected manufacturing sources, allowing for different material and system combinations.
- Polyurethane (PUR)
- Polyisocyanurate (PIR)
Metallic options:
- Pre-painted galvanized steel (PPGI)
- Galvalume / Aluzinc (AZ)
- Aluminum
Specialty coating options:
- PVC-coated steel (Plastisol)
- SMP (Silicone Modified Polyester) coated steel
- PVDF-coated steel
- Hygienic / washable coatings
Non-metallic options:
- Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP)
- Sanitary laminates
- High chemical-resistance interior finishes
Technical Note:
Material selection is critical in agricultural environments and is defined based on corrosion exposure, cleaning frequency, and sanitary requirements.
🔩 Joint Systems
- Tongue-and-groove systems
- Mechanically fastened systems (exposed or concealed)
- Configurations designed for enclosure continuity
- Overlap joint systems
- Ribbed panels (3 or 5 rib profiles)
- Top-fixed systems with self-drilling fasteners
- Configurations designed for drainage and ventilation
Technical Note:
Joint systems are selected based on ventilation requirements, roof slope, and environmental exposure.
📏 Thickness Range
- 1” to 6” (≈ 25 mm to 150 mm)
- Additional thicknesses available based on project requirements
📐 Panel Dimensions
(typically between 36” and 42” / ≈ 900 mm – 1,067 mm)
Panels can be supplied in custom lengths to optimize installation and reduce field modifications.
Application Range by Thickness
| Thickness | Typical Application |
|---|---|
| 1” – 2” | Interior liner systems, retrofit, and ventilated structures |
| 3” – 4” | Walls and facades in controlled environments |
| 5” – 6” | Roof systems and higher thermal performance requirements |
Applications
Suitable for:
- Roof systems
- Exterior wall cladding
- Interior walls and partitions
- Interior liner systems
- Retrofit and modernization projects
