🌵 ARIZONA Series
Mineral Wool Insulated Panels for Fire Protection
Description
The ARIZONA Series is intended for projects where fire protection is a critical requirement, whether driven by code compliance, building design, or operational risk.
Rather than relying on a standard configuration, these systems are defined based on the specific fire-resistance requirements of each project, taking into account occupancy type, risk profile, compartmentalization strategy, and enclosure continuity.
Panels can be integrated into:
- Roof systems
- Exterior wall cladding
- Interior fire-rated walls and partitions
- Interior liner systems
- Retrofit or fire protection upgrades of existing facilities
This approach supports both new construction and upgrades of existing buildings, improving safety performance and supporting compliance with fire protection requirements.
🔥 Fire-Resistant Panel Configuration
System configuration is defined based on the required fire-resistance performance and project conditions.
- High-density mineral wool (rock wool)
- Non-combustible material
Interior Face:
- Continuous metal facing (non-perforated)
- Designed to maintain system integrity during fire exposure
Exterior Face:
Standard metal facing, available as:
- Smooth
- Profiled (depending on wall or roof application)
⚙️ Panel Configuration
System configuration allows for different material combinations depending on project requirements and selected manufacturing sources.
🛡️ Facing Materials- Pre-painted galvanized steel (PPGI)
- Galvalume / Aluzinc (AZ)
- Aluminum
- Standard industrial coatings
- Architectural finishes
- High-durability coatings based on operating environment
Technical Note:
Panel facings remain continuous (non-perforated) to ensure system performance under fire conditions.
🔩 Joint Systems
- Tongue-and-groove systems
- Mechanically fastened systems (exposed or concealed)
- Configurations designed to maintain fire-rated enclosure continuity
- Overlap joint systems
- Ribbed panels (3 or 5 rib profiles)
- Top-fixed systems with self-drilling fasteners
- Configurations designed for drainage and structural performance
Technical Note:
Joint systems, fastening methods, and sealing details must be selected in accordance with the fire-rated assembly requirements and installation conditions.
📏 Thickness Range
- 2” to 8” (≈ 50 mm to 200 mm)
- Additional thicknesses available based on project fire-resistance requirements
📐 Panel Dimensions
(typically between 36” and 42” / ≈ 900 mm – 1,067 mm)
Panels can be supplied in custom lengths to optimize installation and reduce field joints.
Application Range by Thickness
| Thickness | Typical Application |
|---|---|
| 2” – 3” | Basic fire protection applications |
| 4” – 6” | Fire-rated walls and facade systems |
| 6” – 8” | Higher fire-resistance requirements |
Applications
Suitable for:
- Roof systems
- Exterior wall cladding
- Interior fire-rated walls and partitions
- Interior liner systems
- Retrofit and fire protection upgrades
