🧊 ALASKA Series
Insulated Panels for Temperature-Controlled Environments
Description
The ALASKA Series is intended for projects that require precise temperature control, ranging from refrigeration applications to deep freezing environments.
Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all solution, these systems are configured based on the specific conditions of each project, taking into account operating temperature, facility use, sanitary requirements, and energy performance.
Typical operating range:
+35°F to -40°F (≈ +2°C to -40°C)
Panels can be integrated into:
- Roof systems
- Exterior wall cladding
- Interior walls and partitions
- Interior liner systems
- Retrofit or expansion of existing facilities
This approach supports both new construction and upgrades of existing cold storage or controlled environments, improving thermal performance and operational efficiency.
⚙️ Panel Configuration
System configuration is defined based on project requirements and selected manufacturing sources, allowing for multiple material and system combinations.
- Polyurethane (PUR)
- Polyisocyanurate (PIR)
- Pre-painted galvanized steel (PPGI)
- Galvalume / Aluzinc (AZ)
- Stainless steel
- Aluminum
- Standard industrial coatings
- Hygienic / sanitary finishes
- High-durability finishes based on operating environment
Technical Note:
Material and finish selection is determined by application type (food processing, pharmaceutical, industrial), humidity levels, and cleaning requirements.
🔩 Joint Systems
- Tongue-and-groove systems
- Cam-lock systems
- Mechanically fastened systems (exposed or concealed)
- Configurations designed for airtight performance
- Overlap joint systems
- Ribbed panels (3 or 5 rib profiles)
- Top-fixed systems with self-drilling fasteners
- Configurations designed for drainage and structural performance
Technical Note:
Joint systems are selected based on airtightness requirements, roof slope, and operating conditions.
📏 Thickness Range
- 3” to 10” (≈ 80 mm to 240 mm)
- Additional thicknesses available based on project thermal performance requirements
📐 Panel Dimensions
(typically between 39” and 42” / ≈ 1,000 mm – 1,067 mm)
Panels can be supplied in custom lengths to optimize installation and reduce field joints.
Application Range by Thickness
| Thickness | Typical Application |
|---|---|
| 3” – 4” | Refrigeration / walk-in coolers (+35°F to +45°F) |
| 5” – 6” | Standard freezing (0°F to -10°F) |
| 8” – 10” | Deep freezing / high-efficiency (-10°F to -40°F) |
Applications
Suitable for:
- Roof systems
- Exterior wall cladding
- Interior walls and partitions
- Interior liner systems
- Retrofit and expansion projects
